PhD on Systems Biology of Wound Healing

We offer a Postdoc or PhD position in systems biology on the development of multi-scale models for wound healing. The project aims at the development of data-driven dynamic models to elucidate and predict cytocine-driven cellular decisions processes, like proliferation, migration or death on the time scale of hours. The project is funded within the BMBF funded framework 'Medical Systems Biology' and will be carried out in close collaboration with biologist, clinicians and further theoreticians throughout Germany .

The ideal candidate should hold a degree in physics, applied mathematics, engineering or biological sciences, having demonstrated expertise in interdisciplinary research, systems biology, biophysics and/or nonlinear dynamics.
