PhD Scholarship - RMIT University

  • Three year tenure
  • A tax free stipend package of $27,000 per annum
  • Possibility of an additional "Top up" Scholarship of $10,000 per annum

An exciting opportunity is available for one PhD candidate to join a collaborative research program between the School of Applied Sciences, RMIT University city campus and the CSIRO Process Science and Engineering Division, Clayton, Melbourne.  The research project specifically focuses on the characterisation of low grade and refractory Australian uranium ores and will be co-supervised by Prof. Suresh Bhargava and Dr James Tardio (RMIT) and Dr Mark Pownceby (CSIRO).


To be eligible to apply you must:
a)  be commencing your PhD full time in Semester 1, 2013
b)  have either of the following:
          - at least a first class Honors degree in Materials Science, Earth Science or Chemical Engineering
          - other approved qualifications or expertise
